Clarence Smith Jr.

Nov. 8, 1949 — Oct. 8, 2018

Clarence “Tony” Smith Jr. (Nugget), 68, of Ironton, passed away Thursday, Oct. 18, 2018, at his residence. Tony was born Nov. 8, 1949, in Ironton, a son of the late Clarence Sr. and Rose (Reynolds) Smith.
Tony was a graduate of Ironton High School and was retired from Allied Chemical, as well as an underwater welder, dive master and was a certified scuba instructor. Tony enjoyed diving, camping and anything outdoors, and attended Quinn Chapel AME Church.
He is survived by two sons, Anthony W. Smith, of Ironton, and Cory C. Smith, of Los Angeles, California; sister, Ellnora Smith, of Ironton; and four grandchildren, Jared S. Edwards, Tylar B. Smith, Cory A. Smith and Angel D. Smith.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday at the Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home, Ironton, with pastor Margaret Tyson officiating. Douglas McGraw

Douglas Arthur McGraw, 76, died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2018, at Harbor Health Care in Ironton. He was born in Scioto County, the son of the late William and Marietta Blair McGraw. He was the husband of Elizabeth “Libby” Simon McGraw.
He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and retired from Ironton Iron. Doug enjoyed coaching youth basketball, golfing with friends and training sulky horses.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Clyde McGraw, Raymond McGraw, William McGraw Jr. and Franklin McGraw.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Diana (Scott) Addis, of Ironton and Kelli (Justin) Krock, of Marysville; one son and daughter-in-law, Ron (Linda) McGraw, of Ironton; grandchildren, Josh (Cassie) Addis, Jeremy (Katie) Addis, Kara Addis, Michael Dinson, Joey Dunson, Luke McGraw and Zac McGraw; great-grandchildren, Layla, Max, Felicity and Marlon; one brother, Herbert McGraw, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; and two sisters, Mable Vasser, of Smith Lake, Virginia, and Vonda “Sis” Zuffle, of McDermott.
Graveside services will be 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Calvary Cemetery with Fr. David Huffman officiating. Visitation will be 10 a.m.-noon Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home, Ironton. Donations are requested to the Parish Life Center, P.O. Box 499, Ironton, OH 45638.
