Philip Wilson

June 20, 1942 — Nov. 11, 2018

Philip Roger Wilson, 76, of Columbus, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018, at his residence. Born on June 20, 1942, in Lawrence County, Roger was the son of the late Amos B. and Lucille Kingery Wilson.
On Nov. 13, 1965, Roger married Karen G. Slagle Wilson in Waterloo. For 45 years, Roger was a heavy equipment operator for Tamarack Excavating in Columbus. During the last eight years, he was a cleaner for Capital Crosswoods. Roger loved deer hunting.
Roger is survived by his wife, Karen G. Wilson, of Columbus; daughter, Vicki (Clyde) Caldwell, of Croton; grandsons, David (Lauren Craig) Caldwell, of Sunbury, and Tyler (Amanda) Caldwell, of Heath; great-granddaughter, Samantha Craig; siblings, Keith (Sandra) Wilson; Karen Mannon, Michael Wilson, David Wilson and Leland (Donna) Wilson, all of Scottown, and Lisa (Michael) Means, of Leon, West Virginia; several nieces and nephews; and in-laws.
The funeral service for Roger will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Willis Funeral Home, Gallipolis, with the Rev. William Goodall officiating. Burial will follow in Brethern Cemetery, Lawrence County. Thomas Mowery

Aug. 18, 1950 — Nov. 9, 2018

Thomas Dean Mowery, 68, of Ironton, passed away Friday, Nov. 9, 2018, at Harbor Healthcare, Ironton. The Lawrence County native was born Aug. 18, 1950, the son of the late Garland and Thelma Wilson Mowery.
Tom was a 1970 graduate of Ironton High School and a former conductor for CSX, where he retired after 27 years of service.
He is survived by two sons, Robert (Heather) Mowery, of Hampstead, North Carolina, and Joseph Mowery, of Wilmington, North Carolina; and two brothers, Gregoy (Linda Adkins) Mowery and Terry Lee (Connie) Mowery, all of Ironton.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Phillips Funeral Home, Ironton, with Chaplain Randy Tate officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery. Mickey Baldwin

Mickey Jane Baldwin, 62, of Patriot, passed away Thursday, Nov. 8, 2018, at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, West Virginia, at 1:22 p.m. She was the daughter of the late Donald and Lillian Davis Sprouse.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Baldwin; son, Richard D. Baldwin Jr., and his wife, Janet Baldwin; daughter, Shina Baldwin (Kodi McDaniel); grandchildren, Dereck “DJ” (Elizabeth) Baldwin, Kayla Baldwin and Molly Hogan; great-grandchildren, Kieran Carter, Leighton Baldwin and Mira Jane Baldwin; and numerous siblings, in-laws, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at McDaniel Crossroad Church, Patriot, with pastor Watts officiating. The family will receive family and friends from 1-2 p.m. Saturday at the church. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.ehallfuneralhome.com.
