Nominations taken to gift furnace to needy
Extreme Air, of Ashland, currently taking submissions until Dec. 10
ASHLAND — With the start of winter approaching, an Ashland franchise of a national company is taking submissions to award a furnace to a needy person or family in the region.
Air Extreme One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning, of Ashland, part of One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning, is taking nominations until Dec. 10.
People can submit the name of a person or family until Dec. 10.
Then, 10 finalists will be chosen before a winner is selected.
The nominee must be within 50 miles of Ashland or Teays Valley, West Virginia, where the company has another branch.
The home must have existing central air and duct work.
After the winner is selected, the owners will confirm the home’s set up and they are good to go.
Applications will be accepted at http://air-extreme.com/gift and the winner will be selected on Dec. 17 and the furnace will be installed that week.
The finalists will receive a free Direct Energy Protection Plan (DEPP) for one year.
