We at the Community Mission Outreach of Chesapeake wish to thank the many groups who assisted with our 34th annual Christmas basket giveaway on Dec. 20.

God blessed us with enough food and workers that we were able to give away almost 500 food baskets.

Each basket had ham or turkey, milk, a fruit basket, potatoes, onions, stuffing, flour, bread, eggs, fruit cocktail, baked beans, Jello, cake mix, cake icing, cereal, noodles, a bag of apples and shredded cheese. The CMO was also blessed with new toys donated from various organizations, churches and individuals.
