HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Men’s basketball looks to get in the win column when it takes on Louisiana Tech Thursday night in Ruston, La.

Marshall ended a five-game win streak with a loss at WKU on Monday.
Jon Elmore made four three-pointers in the contest is now at 292 for his career, which is two from breaking Austin Loop’s Marshall school record of 293.
C.J. Burks was named Conference USA Player of the Week on Monday, while Taevion Kinsey took home Freshman of the Week.
Elmore needs nine assists to reach 702 for his career and pass Greg White for most in program history.
Jarrod West had five steals against WKU and is now over 100 for his career. The sophomore guard has had five steals in the last three games.
The Herd snapped a 30-game win streak when leading at the half on Monday.
SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
Louisiana Tech comes into the contest with a 13-7 record and is 3-4 in Conference USA action.
The Bulldogs are 10-0 at home this season.
LA Tech started the season with a road win over Wichita State.
The Bulldogs outscore their opponents by a scoring margin of 6.5 points and average 74.2 per contest.
LA Tech is shooting 45 percent from the field this season and holds its opponents to a shooting percentage of 43.5 percent.
WHO TO KNOW
DaQuan Bracey is the Bulldogs’ leading scorer with 13.4 points per. He averages 2.3 rebounds per game and leads the team in assists with 74 and steals with 19. Bracey has taken a team-high 203 shots and is tied for the team lead with 87 makes.
Anthony Duruji is second on the team in rebounding (5.5 per game) and points (12.4). Duruji is tied with Bracey for most made field goals on the team with 87 and has a team-leading 24 blocks.
SERIES HISTORY
The Bulldogs own the all-time series over the Herd with a 7-2 record. However, Marshall took last season’s meeting at the Cam Henderson Center.
