CHESAPEAKE — If this was a baseball game, the starting lineup all got a hit.
The Chesapeake Panthers had nine different players score as they beat the Rock Hill Redmen 66-30 in an Ohio Valley Conference game on Friday.
Eli Archer scored 13 points and Travis Grim scored 11 to lead a balanced offensive attack for the Panthers (11-5, 4-5).
Logan Walsh, Nathan Cox and Tylan Hutchison all scored eight points and Austin Jackson had seven.
Rock Hill (3-11, 0-9) was led by Owen Hankins with 11 points. Logan Hankins and Garrett Miller scored seven each.
Chesapeake jumped on Rock Hill in the first quarter as they held the Redmen to a mere field goal by Owen Hankins to lead 13-2. Cox hit a pair of 3-pointers and Hutchison had four points for the Panthers.
Chesapeake continued to built on its lead in the second quarter by outscoring Rock Hill 17-7 and it was 30-9 at the half.
Walsh hit a 3-pointer and scored five points while Grim and Levi Blankenship each hit from behind the arc.
The Panthers extended their lead to 52-17 after three quarters as Archer scored seven points in the third quarter.
Grim had four points, Jackson had four points including a 3-pointer, and Walsh also hit a trey as the Panthers scored 22 points.
Owen Hankins had four points for Rock Hill.
Archer scored four points while Blankenship and Zander Schmidt each hit triples for the Panthers.
Garrett Miller hit a 3-poiner and scored all five of his points and both Logan and Owen Hankins added 3-pointers for the Redmen.
On Tuesday, Rock Hill hosts Ironton and Chesapeake visits Portsmouth.
