Red Cross plays Game of Thrones

The American Red Cross is asking Game of Thrones fans to bleed#Forthethrone this March.

HBO, the producer of the hit television show, Game of Thrones, has partnered with the Red Cross for six days and if fans donate blood or platelets March 7-12, they can win a chance to win a trip for the world premiere of the season 8 opening episode. The trip is for two people with two nights in a hotel and a $250 gift card for expenses.

Additionally, those who come to donate March 7-12 will also receive exclusive Game of Thrones swag including a T-shirt, stickers to unlock a unique Snapchat filter and other items, while supplies last. Terms and conditions apply and are available at RedCrossBlood.org/HBOGameofThrones.

There will be blood drives at the following locations:

Lawrence County:

• March 3, 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., Tri-State Worship Center, 901 Solida Road, South Point.

• March 23, 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., Getaway Community Church Fellowship Hall, 1238 State Rte 243, Chesapeake.

• March 28, 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., Symmes Valley HS, 14778 State Route 141, Willow Wood.

Ashland, Kentucky:

• March 1, 10:30 a.m. – 4 p.m., Central Fire Station, 1021 Carter Ave. Ashland, Kentucy and 11:30 a.m. – 5 p.m., Bellefonte Pavillion, 2000 Ashland Drive, Russell, Kentucky.
