ROME TOWNSHIP — The Wyngate at RiversEdge has announced several events for the coming weeks.

Activities director Julie Poff said they will host Gospel music from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday at the senior living center in an event which is free and open to the public.

“Saints Alive and Psalms and Hymns will be here,” Poff said of the line up. “And there will be a free lunch, courtesy of the Wyngate.”

On Good Friday, April 19, the Wyngate will host their annual Brunch with the Easter Bunny event.

In addition to the meal, which is free, photos will be offered.

“And there will be chicks and rabbits set up again,” Poff said of the animals, which are brought in each year for children to pet.

And on Saturday, May 18, the Wyngate will host its annual farmers market from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Poff said there is no cost to set up a vendor booth and that those interested can call her at the Wyngate at 740-867-2500.

“They can start reserving a spot now,” Poff said.

She said there would be a free lunch offered to all vendors that day.
