James Gullett
Aug. 28, 1942 — March 22, 2019

James F. Gullett, 76, of South Point, passed away Friday, March 22, 2019, at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, West Virginia.
He was born Aug. 28, 1942, in Ashland, Kentucky, son of the late Byron and Verlie V. Howard Gullett.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Rose Sanders Gullett; a daughter, Rhonda Sue Gullett; a stepdaughter, Debra Abbott; a sister, Maxine Martin; and a brother and sister-in-law, Marvin and Lorraine Gullett.
James attended Solida Baptist Church in South Point and was a retired salesman from Moses Pontiac – GMC.
He is survived by his children, Theresa (Eric) Truxal, of Lima, Steve (Chrystal) Gullett, of Painesville, and stepson, Terry Spears of Cadiz, Kentucky; sisters, Anita Louise Marcum, of West Virginia, Anna Belle (Bill) Tipton, of Ironton, and Emma (Jim) Turley, of South Point; brothers, Harold (Nancy) Gullett, of Ironton, O’Dell (Carolyn) Williams, of Kitts Hill; sister-in-law, Katherine Gullett, of Fredericktown, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be 1 p.m. Monday at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, with Pastor Aaron Childers officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point. Friends may visit two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.

Betty Blankenship
Betty Blankenship, 89, of Ironton, widow of Curtis Blankenship, died Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at King’s Daughters’ Medical Center, Ashland, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be noon Tuesday at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point. Burial will follow in Hecla Cemetery, Ironton. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Thomas Hodge
Thomas Richard Hodge, 88, of Ashland, Kentucky, died Friday, March 22, 2019, at his residence.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby Barker Hodge, of Ashland. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2019, at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
