Lady Flyers sweep Hannan

The St. Joseph Lady Flyers one-two punch is trying to throw knockout punches.
Kelsey Malone and Alex Holtzapfel continue to enjoy a big season including big games on Monday as the Lady Flyers swept the Hannan Lady Wildcats 16-6 and 17-4.
Malone is now 12-of-15 on the season and Holtzapfel 16-of-21 giving each player a batting average of over .700.
Holtzaapfel also was the winning pitcher in both games to give her 23 career victories.
St. Joseph (5-2) had five hits in the first game with Emma Whaley going 1-1, Paige Preston 1-2, Kaitlyn Sheridan 1-3, Malone 1-2 and Holtzapfel 1-4.
The Lady Flyers had nine hits in the second game as Holtzapfel went 4-4 with a triple while Malone and Sheridan were each 2-2. Lydia Sheridan was 1-2.
