Several South Point events set for Saturday

SOUTH POINT — The village of South Point has several events scheduled for Saturday:
A pancake breakfast fundraiser will take place the fire station, at 104 Eisenhower St., beginning at 7 a.m. The proceeds will benefit the South Point Firefighters Association. Cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under
Volunteers will also be taking part in a group clean-up throughout the day. Those who are interested can meet at the fire department at 9:30 a.m.
The village’s spring yard sale will be taking place as well Saturday, running all day throughout South Point
A bean luncheon will take place at South Point Church of the Nazarene, located at 401 Solida Road, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Cost is $5 and proceeds will go toward purchasing gifts for children ant Christmas.
Scrap tire collection will take place on the old Family Dollar parking lot next to village hall, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. This is being in done in conjunction with the Lawrence Scioto County Solid Waster District, who will be collecting in Ironton from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
