Trojans outscore Lady Hornets

PORTSMOUTH — It was one of those games where the team who bats last wins.
The Portsmouth Lady Trojans batted last.
Portsmouth got a run in the bottom of the seventh inning and outscored the Coal Grove Lady Hornets 11-10 in an Ohio Valley Conference game on Wednesday.
Coal Grove outhit Portsmouth 11-7 but were guilty of eight errors.
Addi Dillow had big game for the Lady Hornets as she went 2-5 with a triple, a home run and three runs batted in.
Lauren Crum was 2-3 with two doubles and two RBI, Jaiden Griffith was 1-4 but had four RBI, Rylee Harmon was 2-4 and Delaney Napier had a triple.
Portsmouth’s Madison Perry was 2-3 with a triple, home run and two RBI.
