Coroner identifies fire victim

BURLINGTON — The identity of the person killed in a house fire in on Monday has been released.
Lawrence County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Thomas J. Senella. His body was taken to the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office and a preliminary autopsy was done on Tuesday morning.
The preliminary cause of death was given as smoke inhalation.
The fire took place at a residence on Township Road 1434 in Burlington. According to Lawrence County Sheriff Jeff Lawless, a second person was taken to the hospital. The fire remains under investigation by the Ohio Fire Marshal’s Office.
