The Lawrence County Bass Club held its first tournament of the season at Lake Vesuvius sponsored by The Tackle Box and Borders Sporting Goods. The Big Bass was sponsored by Backwoods Custom Knives. Tournament winners were: first place Ricky Barnett and Randy Quillen, second place and Big Bass was the team of Brent Dickess and Bill Akers, and third place Michael and Keith Williams. The Lawrence County Bass Club held its second tournament of the season at Yatesville Lake in Louisa, Ky. The tournament was sponsored by Guy’s Floor Covering and Dickess Market. The Big Bass was sponsored by Malone’s Marine.
