Blue Angels roll by Lady Panthers

GALLIPOLIS — It all went South very quickly.
The Chesapeake Lady Panthers trailed just 4-1 after three innings and half innings. But then came the bottom of the fourth.
The Gallipolis Blue Angels scored 10 runs in the fourth and posted a 14-1 Ohio Valley Conference win on Wednesday.
Chesapeake had just four hits as Ryleigh Swann went 2-2. Ericka Bowman was 1-2 with a double and Zowie Rollins was 1-2.
Hunter Copley got the win for Gallipolis as she struck out four and walked one.
Alex Barnes was 4-4 and Malerie Stanley 3-4 with four runs batted in to lead the Blue Angels’ offense.
