HRs power Lady Trojans over RH

PORTSMOUTH — Power up.
The Portsmouth Lady Trojans used three home runs to power their way to a 9-0 Ohio Valley Conference win over the Rock Hill Redwomen on Monday.
Cassie Potts hit a two-run homer in the first inning as Portsmouth took a 3-0 lead.
Madison Perry hit a three-run shot in the second inning and Olivia Ramey made it back-to-back home runs as she followed with a solo shot and it was 7-0.
The Lady Trojans added two runs in the third.
Rock Hill had six hits with Baylie Harrah going 2-3.
Ramey was 3-4 with a double and a home run for Portsmouth.
Kylee Montgomery got the win as she struck out four and walked one.
Kylie Howard took the loss as she struck out three, walked one and hit a batter.
The Redwomen were guilty of five errors.
