PEDRO — Everyone was getting into the act.
Eight different players got hits as the Rock Hill Redwomen rolled past the Fairland Lady Dragons 19-2 in a five-inning Ohio Valley Conference game on Friday.
Makenzie Hanshaw was 2-3 with three runs batted in, Sami Stamper 2-2 with a double and two RBI, Kelsey Olderham 2-2 with an RBI, and Baylie Harrah 2-4 with two RBI to lead the 13-hit attack.
Kylee Howard belted a three-run homer to back her own pitching as she allowed five hits, struck out five and did not walk a batter.
Fairland began the game by taking a 2-0 lead.
Libby Judge singled, Halie Clark reached on an error and Olivia Combs had a two-run double.
Rock Hill (11-4, 5-4) got a run back in the bottom of the inning when Howard walked, moved up on a passed ball and scored when Hanshaw reached on an error.
The Redwomen took the lead for good with five runs in the second.
Keilie Adams walked, Stamper and Olderham singled and Grace Stevens doubled. Rileigh Morris walked and Hanshaw doubled in two runs.
Rock Hill then put the game away with an eight-run rally in the third.
Harrah singled, Adams walked, Haleigh Rowe was hit by a pitch and Stamper belted a double. Olderham then singled and Morris singled.
Howard capped the uprising with a home run.
The Redwomen added five runs in the fourth inning.
With one out, Olderham walked, Morris was hit by a pitch and Howard hit a sacrifice fly. Hanshaw walked and Harrah singled home two runs. Adams finished off the rally with an RBI double.
