GALLIPOLIS— Kylie Howard just didn’t have any luck.
Howard pitched a three-hitter but four errors proved costly as the Rock Hill Redwomen lost 3-0 to the Gallipolis Blue Angels in an Ohio Valley Conference game on Monday.
The game was scoreless until Gallipolis got all three of its runs in the bottom of the sixth inning.
With one out, Alex Barnes reached on an error, Chasity Adams walked and both moved up on a passed ball.
Bailey Young reached on a fielder’s choice with Barnes scoring. Bailey Meadows then bunted for a base hit as two more runs scored.
Howard struck out two and walked just one. Hunter Copley pitched well for Gallipolis as she gave up only five hits, struck out seven and walked two.
Grace Stevens, Keilie Adams, Baylie Harrah, Kelsey Olderham and Howard all had hits for Rock Hill.
