PEDRO — This is what you call a team win.
Kylee Howard pitched a four-hitter and eight different players had hits as the Rock Hill Redwomen blanked the Lucasville Valley Lady Indians 10-0 in five innings on Tuesday.
Howard struck out two and walked just one over five innings for the win.
Rock Hill (14-5) had 11 hits with Riliegh Morris going 2-4 with a home run and three runs batted in and Grace Stevens was 2-3.
The Redwomen got the only run they would really need in the second inning.
Makenzie Hanshaw walked, Keilie Adams sacrificed her to second and she scored on Aleigha Matney’s double.
The lead went to 5-0 in the third.
Kelsey Olderham got a leadoff single, Kate Delong put down a sacrifice bunt that was thrown away that allowed both runners to score.
Stevens and Howard both singled, Hanshaw doubled in a run and Baylie Harrah singled.
Rock Hill stretched the lead to 8-0 in the fourth inning when Morris cracked a home run following walks to Delong and Stevens.
The Redwomen created the run rule with two runs in the sixth.
Stevens, Morris and Howard all singled for a run, Hanshaw was hit by a pitch to load the bases and Adams singled for the walk-off RBI hit.
