Aaron Saunders

July 14, 1979– May 1, 2019

Aaron Patrick Saunders, 39, of South Point, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at King Daughter’s Medical Center, Ashland, Kentucky. He was born July 14, 1979 in Huntington, West Virginia, son to his beloved mother, Carolyn Toney Saunders and the late Stephen D. Saunders.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Edith Smith and Paul F. Toney, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Aaron and Edna Saunders and one aunt, Shirley Willis.

Aaron attended Rock Hill Schools. He is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer Nicole Smallwood Saunders; two children, Sidney Aaron Saunders and Seth Benjamin Saunders, whom he dearly loved and one brother, Stephen Robert Saunders of South Point.

Funeral Service will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, with Pastor Paul Toney officiating. Burial will follow at Sugar Creek Cemetery, Ironton.

Friends may visit two hours prior to the service.

Debbie Kay Lynd, 61, of South Point, died Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Paul Bartrum at 2 p.m. on Monday at Schneider-Hall Funeral Home in Chesapeake.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Burial will follow in Burlington Greenlawn Cemetery in South Point.

Joann Turley

Joann Turley, 83, formerly of Chesapeake, died Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at her residence.

A graveside service will be conducted by Pastor Bobby Young at 3 p.m. on Saturday at Locust Grove Cemetery in Scottown. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 1:30-2:30 p.m. at Schneider-Hall Funeral Home in Chesapeake.

Ronald Smith

Ronald L. Butch Smith, 71, of Proctorville, died Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at The Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, West Virginia.

Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville. Burial will follow in Getaway Cemetery, Chesapeake. Visitation will be held 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
