The Ironton Tuesday Night Summer concert series continues tonight with Down to the River.

“They are making their second appearance at The Tuesday Night Concert Series,” said Sam Heighton, executive director of Ironton aLive “They were a hit last year and will bring a crowd.”

Down to the River is from Pikeville, Kentucky. Heighton said the group was formed to take songs Tony Mullins has written over the years, and enlisting help from friends all over the area, to combine live music and recordings into an ambitious music endeavor. Down to the River plays rock and roll, soul and freeform jams.
