PINE GROVE — There were five events but only four winners.
Margaret Donley was the golfer who got a little greedy.
Donley won two events while Becky Dill0w, Lana Moore and Shirley Gleim each registered a victory during the Tuesday weekly outing of the Ironton Ladies Nine Hole Golf Association at the Ironton Country Club.
Hostess Pat Riggs did the usual brief business meeting breakfast duties and then announced the day’s events.
When the events were completed and the ladies were back in the clubhouse for lunch, Riggs announced the day’s winners that included the foursome.
Next week’s hostess will be Gleim. The brief business meeting is at 9 a.m. in the clubhouse at the Ironton Country Club.
New members are always welcomed and persons do not have to be members of the Ironton County Club to be part of the Ladies Nine Hole League and play the nine-hole course in Pine Grove.
