The KYOVA Interstate Planning Commission will be having a public meeting about safety on a stretch of U.S. 52 from 4-6 p.m. on June 25 at the Lawrence Economic Development Corporation building in South Point.

The group is doing a transportation study for U.S. 52 between Burlington Macedonia Road and Charlie Creek Road to identify potential solutions on safety and operations along the corridor.

The meeting is a chance for the public to give input and present solutions.

There will be brief presentations at 4:15 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.

The purpose of the meeting is to share suggested improvements, gain input from the public and address any concerns or questions.

Members of the public can provide information and ask questions of the project team.

This is an open house format to allow you to review the information at your pace anytime during the meeting.

The LEDC building is located at 216 Collins Ave., South Point.
