Families enjoyed the spray park in downtown Ironton on the first day of summer on Friday.

While on Sunday, members of Girl Scout Troop 2427 had their end of summer celebration at Lawco Lake, which included a visit from the BARKer Farm Petting Zoo. The event was paid for entirely with funds from the group’s cookie sales.
Temperatures are expected to hit 90 today and the weather will remain hot and sunny through this weekend.
