The project is scheduled to be completed in mid-summer.

• Construction has begun for a bridge replacement on State Route 217, just east of State Route 378. The project site is situated between County Road 64 (Venisonham-Camp Branch Road) and Township Road 79 (Ridge Baptist Church Road), and throughout construction, traffic will be maintained in one, 10-foot lane with temporary signals. All work is scheduled to be completed in mid-fall.

• A resurfacing and bridge repair project continues State Route 7 and State Route 527 between County Road 18 (Solida Road) and the junction with Third Avenue at Chesapeake. Traffic will be maintained in a minimum of one, 12-foot lane in either direction, and a variable speed limit will be in effect during construction. All work is anticipated to be completed in late summer.

• A slide repair project is under way on State Route 7 near County Road 3 (Old State Route 7). The route is open to two, 11-foot lanes; however, traffic has been shifted, and motorists are reminded of the need for additional caution in the work zone. The project is scheduled to be completed by mid-summer.
