More acts announced for concerts: Series continues until end of August

The Summer Concert Series at the Ironton Farmers Market continued on Tuesday with a performance by Barry Easton and Larry Pancake and more acts are planned for remaining weeks.
The series, organized by Ironton aLive!, will run through the end of August, Sam Heighton, executive director of the group, said.
He said more acts have already been scheduled for the end of July.
Next week, on July 23, Carrier will perform, followed by Creek Don’t Rise on July 30.
Heighton said the first part of August has yet to be booked, but the series will wrap up, as it does each year with a performance by City Heat on Aug. 27.
“All shows begin at 6:30 p.m.,” Heighton said.
