HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall center Levi Brown (Rimington Trophy) and tight end Armani Levias (John Mackey Award) have each been named to preseason watch lists at their respective positions.
Brown, who has been named to the list three times, was named a preseason All-Conference USA selection by the league’s coaches and Athlon this summer. Levias, who was named to Athlon’s second team, caught 20 passes for 258 yards and three touchdowns in 2018.
Conference USA’s media corps picked the Thundering Herd to win the East Division earlier this week, to the tune of 14 first-place votes. North Texas was the top selection in the West with 20.
The 15th annual Conference USA Football Championship Game, pitting the champions of the East and West Divisions, will be held Saturday, Dec. 7.
