PINE GROVE — Moore got more.
Lana Moore picked up two event wins Tuesday, July 9, in the weekly competition of the Ladies Nine Hole Golf Association at the Ironton Country Club.
Pat Lambert handled the hostess duties and announced the day’s events.
When play had finished, the group ate lunch and Lambert announced all the winners. Besides Moore, Margaret Donley and Pat Riggs also claimed event wins.
Last Tuesday’s events were “Rigged.”
Pat Riggs, that is.
Riggs won two of the five events set up by hostess Joyce Lewis.
Also getting wins were Margaret Donley, Sharon Fox as well as Lewis.
Next week’s hostess will be Donley.
The brief business meeting is at 9 a.m. in the clubhouse at the Ironton Country Club.
Members are reminded that the Ringers’ and Handicap tournaments are currently underway.
New members are always welcomed and persons do not have to be members of the Ironton County Club to be part of the Ladies Nine Hole League and play the nine-hole course in Pine Grove.
