WOUB tower to go silent overnight: Work being done on WOUL transmitter

Late night public radio listeners will be hearing silence over the next couple of weeks as WOUB’s Ironton transmitter will be shut down overnight for tower maintenance.

The work started on Thursday night and is expected to take three weeks. The WOUL transmitter is being shut down from 11 p.m.–5 a.m. for the safety of the tower workers.

The work will be done Sunday–Thursday nights.
