People indicted on drug, gun charges

In the latest indictments handed down by the Lawrence County grand jury, there were a lot of drug cases and a couple gun-related cases.

Most of the cases involved methamphetamine as well as heroin and fentanyl.

Among the 15 methamphetamine cases were:

• Michael C. White, 1687 County Road 56, Chesapeake, was charged with second-degree felony aggravated trafficking in drugs for having 27.7 grams of methamphetamine and fourth-degree misdemeanor improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle.

• Robbie J. Leibee, 1522 S. Second St., Ironton, was charged with fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs and third-degree felony tampering with evidence.

• Courtney R. Gallion, 411 N. Sixth St., Ironton, was charged with fifth-degree felony possession of heroin, fifth-degree felony possession of drugs and fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs.

• Jennifer L. Stapleton, 1181 Township Road 214N, Willow Wood, was charged with fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs and second-degree misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Christopher L. Vidoni, 418 Roosevelt Court, Portsmouth, was charged with third-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs

• Taylor M. Jones-Dunen, 135 Caroline Drive, Ashland, Kentucky, was charged with fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs.

• Gary W. Munyan, 670 Township Road 151, Ironton, was charged with fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs.

• Michelle R. Landis, 318 W. First St., Wellston, was charged with fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs.

• John A. Duty, Route 1, Box 348, Lesage, West Virginia, was charged with fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs.

• Curt H. Davis, 8227 Paddle Creek Road, Catlettsburg, Kentucky, was charged with fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs and second-degree misdemeanor possession of drug abuse instrument.

• Jennifer Mays, 203 Susan Court, Proctorville, was charged with fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs.

• Kaye L. McKenzie, 811 High St., Coal Grove, was charged with fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs.

• Wesley A. White, 240 County Road 31, Chesapeake, was charged with fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs.

• Jonathan M. Jenkins, 107 Howard St., Ironton, was charged with fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs.

• Lloyd Horsley, 47 Private Drive 3670, Ironton, was charged with fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs.

Those indicted on counts related to possession of fentanyl include:

• Jamie Salmons, 888 Township Road 88, Proctorville, was charged with fifth-degree felony possession of drugs and third-degree felony tampering with evidence.

• Raymond D. Waugh, 615 County Road 3, Chesapeake, was charged with fifth-degree felony possession of drugs.

• Pauline Ann Jenkins, 279 Township Road 1034, South Point, was charged with fifth-degree felony possession of drugs.

• Benjamin Jack Reed, 75 Township Road 1339, South Point, was charged with fifth-degree felony possession of drugs.

• Nathan Lee Castle, 2316 Geswein Blvd., Ironton, was charged with fifth-degree felony possession of drugs.

There were six heroin-related cases:

• Elizabeth Mullins, 1352 Charleston Ave., Huntington, West Virginia, was charged with fifth-degree felony possession of heroin.

• Alexandria D. Bazell, 2102 S. Eighth St., Ironton, was charged with fifth-degree felony possession of heroin.

• Robert P. Strausbaugh, 28 W. Markinson Ave., Columbus, was charged with fifth-degree felony possession of heroin.

• Jeremy A. Townsend, 5582 County Road 6, Kitts Hill, was charged with fifth-degree felony possession of heroin and second-degree misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Brian E. Booth, 3550 Greenbrier Creek Road, Fort Gay, West Virginia, was charged with fifth-degree felony possession of heroin.

• Timothy L. Watts, 10278 County Road 1, Ironton, was charged with fifth-degree felony possession of heroin.

There were also several gun-related charges.

Two men were charged with aggravated robbery for having a Smith and Wesson SD40VE firearm while committing a theft offense.

• Zachary Hay, 147 Township Road 1316 Apt. 5, South Point, was charged with first-degree felony aggravated robbery and third-degree felony tampering with evidence.

• Jason C. Addison, 2607 Adams Ave., Huntington, West Virginia, was charged with first-degree felony aggravated robbery, second-degree misdemeanor resisting arrest and third-degree felony tampering with evidence.

• David Isaac Bowman, 507 Riverside Drive, Chesapeake, was charged with fourth-degree felony for the theft of a .357 Taurus revolver.

• Michael A. Gibson, 3017 Richards Road, Patriot, was charged with fourth-degree felony improperly handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle.

Tyler A. Woodrum-Billanti, 1509 Inez St. E, Bank, West Virginia, was charged with fourth-degree felony improperly handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle.

• Kyle L. Gipson, 938 Gilley St., Flatwoods, Kentucky, was charged with fourth-degree felony improperly handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle.
