Whether you had met Don for five minutes chatting in line at the gas station or had known him all of your life, any time you saw him, he always gave you a great story.

He was a connoisseur of small talk and a lover of all things historical, especially genealogy. Loving all things outdoors he was an avid hunter, fisherman and a man with a keen eye for photographing nature.

Don was a man who held a deep appreciation for the simple things in life. He showed us all how to slow down, not sweat the small stuff and embrace the time you are given.
