Jerry Blackwell

Jerry Lee Blackwell, 83, of Grove City, formerly of Ironton, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2019, at Doctors Hospital in Columbus.

Mr. Blackwell was born July 27, 1936, in Ironton; a son to the late Lindsey and Carrie Elizabeth (Lutz) Blackwell.

Jerry was a graduate of Ironton High School and retired after 20 years of service from Walmart in 2010, as a greeter. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Jerry is survived by three sons, Christopher Blackwell, Joseph Blackwell and Robert Blackwell; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral service will be 11:30 a.m., Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 S. Seventh St., Ironton, with the Rev. James Cremeans officiating. Thelma Mabry

Thelma E. Mabry, 56, of Huntington, West Virginia died Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington.

A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at Encouragers Fellowship Church 1630 Doulton Ave. Huntington, West Virginia, with Bishop Gary Edwards officiating, Charles Hughes Sr. and David Wade serving as vocalists and program reader will be Stacy Metcalf.  A balloon release will follow the service.  Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Robert Sinozich

Robert Michael Sinozich, 61, of Chesapeake, died Wednesday at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, West Virginia.  He is survived by his wife, Judy Lynn Kinney.

A celebration of life will be held 3 p.m. Saturday at the Party Barn, 672 Twp. Rd. 88 Proctorville.  Schneider-Hall Funeral Home, Chesapeake, Ohio is handling arrangements.
