RUSSELL — Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital is offering free hernia screenings on the hospital campus from 1-5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6. The screenings will take place in suite 320 of the Same Day Surgery Center.

The free hernia screenings will be conducted by OLBH’s team of general surgeons which include Tim Jones, M.D., Carlos Malave, M.D., James H. Martin, M.D., and Tyler Grant, D.O. The most common symptoms of a hernia are nausea, groin pain or a bulge in the lower abdomen.
