Wanda Neal, 82, of South Point, died Friday, Aug. 16, 2019, at a local nursing home facility.

Graveside service will be Tuesday at Slab Fork Cemetery, 7224 County Road 4, Pedro. There will be no public visitation and Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 S. Seventh St., Ironton, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Helen Schmalstig, 91, of Greensboro, North Carolina, formerly of South Point, died Monday, August 19, 2019 at Beacon Place, Greensboro, North Carolina.

Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery, Ironton. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
