Lady Flyers fall but show improvement

The St. Joseph Lady Flyers didn’t get the win on Tuesday in the volleyball season opener, but things did get better.
The Lady Flyers lost 8-25, 15-25 and then 20-25 as they improved each set.
Chloe Sheridan had two assists, one kill and two digs, Faith Mahlmeister had one kill and two digs, Gracie Damron three aces, Emma Whaley five digs, and Jayden Green added two kills and four digs.
The Lady Flyers host Coal Grove at 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
