Jennifer Vinson

Jennifer Sue Vinson, 61, of Ironton, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2019 at her residence. She was born in Ironton on July 16, 1958 to the late Raymond Howard and Jennie (Hobson) Vinson.

Jennifer was a graduate of Ironton High School and she worked as an assembler for the Liebert Corp for many years. She loved spending time with her family and friends and was a member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two infant sisters.

She is survived by a son, Marcus (Trish) Royal of Ironton; five sisters; Gloria Allen of Ironton, Phyllis (Rodney) Boykin of South Point, Jeanetta (Jerry) Taylor of South Point, Ramona (Oscar) Sims of Lawton, Oklahoma and Carrie Lee Martinez of Ironton; two brothers, Donald (Ellen) Vinson of Cumberland, Maryland and Ronald (Denise) Vinson of Princeton, Kentucky; a stepmother, Carrie Jane Vinson; three stepbrothers, Jeffery (Camille) McConnell of Arizona, James (Julie) Ailster of Ironton, Jason (Tami) Ailster of Destin, Florida; and a special friend, Jami Boykin, of Ironton.

A graveside service will be held by the family at a later date.

The Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home, 518 S. Sixth St., Ironton, is honored to be assisting the Vinson family with arrangements.

Hazel Finch

Hazel L. Finch, 95, of Proctorville, died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2019 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, West Virginia.

Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, with Minister Barry Kelley officiating. Private family burial will take place at Perkins Ridge Cemetery, Willow Wood. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
