Lady Flyers lose match at New Boston

NEW BOSTON— The St. Joseph Lady Flyers have got to get some “O” to go with their “D.”
The Lady Flyers amassed 42 digs as a team in a strong defensive effort, but the offense sputtered in a straight sets loss to the New Boston Lady Tigers in a Southern Ohio Conference volleyball game on Tuesday, 7-25, 17-25 and 17-25.
Statistic leaders for the Lady Flyers included:
Chloe Sheridan two aces, five assists and three digs; Jade DeGiorgio seven digs; Faith Mahlmeister one ace, two kills, eight digs, on block assist: Gracie Damron three kills and two digs; Bella Whaley two kills, one block assist and 13 digs; and Jadyn Green two aces, three kills and eight digs.
St. Joseph will host Portsmouth Clay at 6 p.m. on Thursday before visiting Symmes Valley next Tuesday in a pair of SOC games
