OAK HILL — The big play was the big problem for the Rock Hill Redmen defense.
The Oak Hill Oaks used three long scoring runs to beat the Redmen 20-0 on Friday in a non-league game.
Triston Diltz ran just 10 times but for 194 yards and two touchdowns as the Oaks racked up 258 total yards — all on the ground — in the win.
The Redmen (0-3) had 114 yards rushing with Hayden Harper getting 44 yards on 15 carries while Logan Hankins had 42 yards on 14 attempts.
Oak Hill (1-2) broke the scoreless tie in the second quarter following a Rock Hill punt.
Triston Diltz bolted 83 yards on the first play and Brock Harden’s conversion kick made it 7-0 with 9:51 left in the half.
Diltz worked his magic again in the third quarter as he went 65 yards on second down to quickly complete a 78-yard, two-play drive and it was 14-0 with 7:29 on the clock.
The Oaks got the final score on a 17-yard run by Noah Donley with 7:13 to play. The nine-play drive covered 65 yards and came after a Rock Hill drive stalled.
A lightning delay ended the game prematurely.
