Shawn Lewis

March 29, 1971 – Sept. 10, 2019

Shawn Lewis, 48, of Bucyrus, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2019, in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. Shawn was born March 29, 1971 in Columbus, a son to Beverlee Wilds Lewis and the late Thomas Lewis. He is survived by his wife, Karin, of Bucyrus.

Shawn was a graduate of Groveport-Madison High School and was a self-employed construction worker. He was an avid Saint Louis Cardinal and NASCAR fan. He loved any kind of outdoor activities and enjoyed playing golf. He loved his family, friends and his dog, Bandit.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Micky and Juanita Wilds, and paternal grandparents, Bob and Juanita Lewis.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a stepson, Karson Stanford, of Bucyrus; a stepdaughter, Kassidy Stanford, of Bucyrus; his beloved Corgi dog, Bandit; a sister, Misty (Mark) Jones, of Columbus; a niece, Makayla Jones, of Columbus; and many specials aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss him

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home, 518 S. Sixth St., Ironton, with Pastor Guiles Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery and visitation will be 11 a.m. Tuesday until time of the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Shawn’s name to Hospice of North Central Ohio c/o Seasons Palliative Care, 1050 Dauch Drive, Ashland, OH 44805.

Earl Hamlin

Earl “Hoss” Hamlin, 58, of Proctorville, died Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2019, at St. Mary’s Medical Center. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Hamlin.

Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, is assisting the family with arrangements which are incomplete.

Haley Booth

Haley Noelle Booth, 25 of Huntington, West Virginia, died at her residence Thursday, Sept. 12, 2019.

A private family graveside service will be held at Miller Memorial Gardens.

Hall Funeral Home and Crematory assisted the family with arrangements.

Orpha Fulks

Orpha Eldonna Fulks, 79, of Crown City, died Thursday, Sept. 12, 2019 at St. Mary’s Medical Center.

Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville. Burial will follow at Miller Memorial Gardens in Miller. Visitation will be 6 – 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
