WILLOW WOOD — The St. Joseph Lady Flyers couldn’t get over a bad start.
The Lady Flyers lost to the Symmes Valley Lady Vikings in straight sets, 5-25, 19-25 and 15-25 on Tuesday in a Southern Ohio Conference volleyball game.
Statistic leaders for the Lady Flyers were:
Emma Whaley five digs; Jade DeGiorgio five digs; Chloe Sheridan one ace, one assists, nine digs; Gracie Damron two aces, two block assists; Bella Whaley one kill, two digs; Emilee Blankenship one assist, one digs; Aubrey Sutton one kill, one block assist: Jadyn Green two kills, one block assist, nine digs.
St. Joseph starter Faith Mahlmeister was injured in Monday’s soccer game and did not play.
The Lady Flyers host Sciotoville East at 6 p.m. Thursday in a league game.
