The St. Joseph Lady Flyers got out their brooms.
The Lady Flyers made it a clean sweep in the season series as they beat the Sciotoville Lady Tartans for the second time on Thursday.
St. Joseph battled to a five-set win in the Southern Ohio Conference game, 19-25, 25-11, 15-25, 25-21 and 15-9 in the tiebreaker.
Statistic leaders for the Lady Flyers were:
Emma Whaley five digs; Jade DeGiorgio 11 digs; Chloe Sheridan six aces, one kill, one block assist, 16 assists and eight digs; Gracie Damron six aces, five kills, two solo blocks and one block assist; Bella Whaley five aces, four kills and four digs; Emilee Blankenship one ace, one kill, on assist and one dig; Aubrey Sutton one ace and one dig; Jadyn Green three aces, 12 kills, one block assist and 10 digs.
Next week, the Lady Flyers entertain Green on Tuesday and visit Western on Thursday in SOC games. Games start at 6 p.m.
