Reynolds’ hat trick keys Redwomen win

PEDRO — Maybe there is a reason why Bri rhymes with three.
Bri Reynolds had another hat trick as her three goals helped the Rock Hill Redwomen beat the Minford Lady Falcons 4-1 on Thursday in a non-league soccer game.
Reynolds broke the scoreless tie at the 21-minute mark with an assist from Emmi Stevens.
Reynolds scored against with 36 minutes on the clock as Lucy Simpson got the assist this time.
Ellen Heaberlin made it 3-0 with a goal two minutes last and Reynolds got credit with the assist.
Reynolds completed her hat trick by scoring at the 54-minute mark of the second half as Simpson had her second assist.
Minford avoided the shutout when Sarah Lewis got an unassisted goal with 65 minutes on the clock.
Rock Hill goalkeeper Grace Stevens had two saves. Rock Hill had 22 shots with 11 on goal. Minford had just five shots and three on goal.
Rock Hill improved to 8-1-1 with the non-conference win while Minford fell to 6-4.
The Redwomen hosts Gallipolis in a pivotal Ohio Valley Conference game on Monday.
