Special needs group plans outdoor events

GETAWAY — The Special Needs Youth Sportsmen have two events planned for coming months.
A field day and pheasant hunt are set for Oct. 18 and 19. Those interested in attending the event, which is free of cost, can meet at Collins Career Technical Center farm at 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 18 and at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday Oct. 19.
On Nov. 22-24, the group will host a hunter safety event and deer hunt at Collins Career Technical Center.
This event will be followed be a raffle and a dinner, as well as games for children.
