Ironton, Symmes Valley playoff tickets on sale
First-round playoff tickets for the football games on Saturday are on sale at Ironton High School and Symmes Valley High School.
Tickets are $8 in advance and $9 at the gate.
Ironton host Wellston while Symmes Valley travels to Shadyside. Both games begin at 7 p.m.
The schools receive only a percentage of the presale. All sales at the gate go to the OHSAA.

RH schools host volleyball Special Olympics
The All-County volleyball Special Olympics will be held from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6, at the Rock Hill Middle School and on Thursay, Nov. 7, at the Rock Hill Elementary School.
The public is invited.

OVC plans basketball previews Nov. 15, 22
The Ohio Valley Conference girls’ and boys’ annual basketball preview will be held on Nov. 15 and 22 at Ironton High School.
The girls’ preview will be Friday, Nov. 15, and the boys’ preview Friday, Nov. 22.
Here are the schedules with the home team listed first:
5 p.m. Fairland vs. Portsmouth; 6:00 South Point vs. Chesapeake; 7:00 Rock Hill vs. Gallipolis; 8:00 Ironton vs. Coal Grove.
All-conference awards for fall sports will be presented between the second and third games.
Admission is $5.

SOC basketball sets basketball previews
The Southern Ohio Conference has set schedules for the girls’ and boys’ basketball previews.
The girls’ preview will be Friday, Nov. 15, at Northwest High School. The boys’ preview will be Friday, Nov. 22, at South Webster High School. Admission is $5.
