Ironton playoff tickets on sale at OHSAA website
Tickets for the Ironton vs. West Lafayette Ridgewood Division 5 Region 19 championship game are on sale online at ohsaa.org/tickets.
Tickets are $8 in advance and the school receives only a percentage of the pre-sale. All tickets at the game are $9 and all money goes to the OHSAA. There is a processing fee when ordering online.
Ironton plays at 7 p.m. Saturday at Nelsonville-York High School.

OVC boys’ basketball preview set for Friday
The Ohio Valley Conference boys’ basketball preview will be held Friday at Ironton High School.
Here is the schedule with the home team listed first:
5 p.m. Fairland vs. Portsmouth; 6:00 South Point vs. Chesapeake; 7:00 Rock Hill vs. Gallipolis; 8:00 Ironton vs. Coal Grove.
All-conference awards for fall sports will be presented between the second and third games.
Admission is $5.

SOC basketball boys’ basketball previews
The Southern Ohio Conference boys’ basketball preview will be Friday at South Webster High School. Admission is $5.

5:00 — South Webster vs. Symmes Valley; 5:40 — Green vs. Northwest; 6:20 — Wheelersburg vs. New Boston; 7:00 —Portsmouth West vs. Notre Dame; 7:40 — Minford vs. Portsmouth Clay; 8:20 — Waverly vs. South Webster jayvees; 9:00 — Beaver Eastern vs. Sciotoville East; 9:40 — Oak Hill vs. Western; 10:20 — Lucasville Valley vs. St. Joseph.
