P4TP to host decoration completion: Awards for Griswold Challenge are Dec. 23
SOUTH POINT — People for the Point will be hosting the sixth annual South Point Griswold Christmas Challenge.
Named for the family at the center of the film, “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation,” this decoration competition is open to all residents in the 45680 zip code.
There are five different categories to participate in: Clark Griswold Grand Champion Award, Most Original Home, Best Religious Themed Home, Best Decorated Business Award, and the Love Thy Neighbor Award.
Awards will be given on Dec. 23.
Last year’s 2018 Grand Champion Award went to Garrett White. P4TP are excited to see who will take home the 2019 Grand Champion Award.
Throughout the year, People for the Point sponsors several events that have enriched the community and provided family friendly events and activities.
