Martha Kline
Sept. 27, 1949– Jan. 6, 2020
Martha Ann Kline, 75, of Wheelersburg, passed away Monday, Jan. 6, 2020, at KDMC in Ashland, Kentucky.
Martha was born Sept. 27, 1949 in Wheelersburg, to the late Herman Edward and Edna Essman Delabar.
Martha was a Green High School graduate and worked as a fancy stitcher at the former Williams Shoe Factory.
She was a member of St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Delabar; and a sister, Dorothy “Dot” Collett.
Martha is survived by a son, Paul Kline; a daughter, Pamela (Johnny) Smith; sisters, Jean Wheeler and Mary Smith; grandchildren, Amanda and Drew Gorfi, Josh Raymond, Kelsey and Todd Hamilton and Alyssa and Abby Smith; and great grandchildren, Amelia and Andy Gorfi and Logan Hamilton.
Services will be 8 p.m. Friday at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 5–8 p.m. Friday.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Shriner’s Hospitals.

Howard Early
Howard Lee Early, 45, of Barboursville, West Virginia, died Monday, Jan. 6, 2020 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, West Virginia.
He is survived by his wife, Penny Early.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville. A reception will be held immediately after the service at Norway Avenue Church of Christ in Huntington, West Virginia. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Thomas Brian Lewis, 60, of Ironton, died Monday, Jan. 6, 2020 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Ironton.

Jack Murnahan
May 20, 1946–Jan. 6, 2020
Jack Murnahan, 73, of Zanesville, formerly of Circleville, passed away on Jan. 6, 2020. He was born on May 20, 1946 in Ironton.
In addition to his mother, Lillie Murnahan he was preceded in death by a sister, Rosemary Harmon.
Jack was an Air Force veteran and a member of Cornerstone Christian Church, Circleville and LifeWay Church, Zanesville.
He was retired from Kenworth.
He is survived by his wife, Ronda (Chatfield) Murnahan; children, Becky (Jim) Henderson, Lisa (Mark) Harmon and Cathy (Jamey) Kerns; three grandchildren, Caitlin (Michael) Tacker, Haley (Brad) Lemaster, and Nathan Harmon; and great grandson Jonathan Tacker.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at noon at Cornerstone Christian Church, Circleville with Pastors William Pellum and James Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Chillicothe. Friends may call at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday.

John Martin
John Edward Martin, 78, of Kitts Hill, died Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2020, at Community Hospice, Ashland, Kentucky.
Graveside service will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Williams Hill Cemetery located with Leatherwood Cemetery, Kitts Hill. Friends may visit 10 a.m.–noon Saturday at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point.

Linda Sue Murphy, 72, of South Point, died Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2020 at The Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, West Virginia. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday at Friendly United Baptist Church on Smith Creek Road, Salt Rock, West Virginia. Burial will be in Baylous Cemetery, Salt Rock, West Virginia.
