RUSSELL, Ky. — Mammography services at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital recently were surveyed by the Food and Drug Administration. The successful survey was conducted at the OLBH Women’s Center. It was the 27th straight year of flawless surveys for OLBH.

The FDA survey of the OLBH Women’s Center produced neither deficiencies nor any recommendations for the center’s mammography program. An extensive review of the program’s documentation and qualifications of its radiologists, technologists, physicists and equipment functions are undergone during the survey.

“I applaud our team not just for this year’s survey, but for the fact they’ve received flawless surveys for 27 years, a remarkable feat,” Terri Hannon, OLBH Radiology director, said. “We’re very proud of Beth Wilson and her staff at the OLBH Women’s Center. The work they do on behalf of the women in our area is second to none, as this flawless survey demonstrates.”
