PEDRO — The next time Rock Hill decides to change their nets, they might need to make sure someone took the lids off the baskets, too.
Nothing would drop for the Redmen on Tuesday as they lost 58-30 to the Gallipolis Blue Devils in an Ohio Valley Conference game.
Rock Hill (3-10, 0-7) could only manage 11 points in the second half after scoring just 19 points in the first half.
Gallipolis (4-7, 3-4) was led by Logan Blouir with 14 points and Isaac Clary had 11.
Logan Hankins hit a pair of 3-pointers and scored 10 points while Braden Stamper added 9 points for the Redmen.
Gallipolis led 12-9 after the first quarter.
Blouir hit and Cooper Davis hit 3-pointers in the second quarter as the lead went to 26-19 at the half.
Stamper score 7 points in the second quarter to keep the Redmen close.
But Rock Hill got just 5 points in third quarter — all by Hankins — and Clary had 6 points as Gallipolis pulled away to a 48-24 lead.
On Friday, Rock Hill host Chesapeake and Gallipolis visits Ironton.
