SOUTH POINT — A new janitorial business hosted its grand opening on Monday in South Point.
Ever Clean Janitorial Service is located at 208 4th St. E. in the village and is owned by Melinda Johnson.
“We do commercial and residential cleaning,” Johnson said, adding that they have 11 employees.
The business also offers other services, such as maintenance and floor care.
Johnson, a South Point resident who works at the Marathon refinery in Catlettsburg, Kentucky, said they had intended to begin business the following day, but had already started working with clients, which she said cover the Tri-State area, including the Keurig Dr. Pepper facility at The Point Industrial Park, Infocision in Huntington and numerous residences.
“I really like being able to help people,” she said of the residential work. “Our staff helps a lot of elderly with residential cleaning, even if they can’t afford it.”
She said their services are good for residents who have booked-up schedules.
“A lot of people fall short in their busy lives and we try to help out,” Johnson said. “We’ve been very successful and have a lot of happy clients.”
She said they provide a range of services and invited the public to check them out.
“A lot of people don’t know all that we offer,” she said.
She said they are working on building a webpage and can be contacted through Facebook or by calling 740-523-0100.
